The month started with meetings in Los Angeles for a film project that Scott is co-music supervising and producing music for. Details of the project will be revealed once it gets closer to being edited and the music portion begins.
Talk to anybody who has played the drums for more than 40 years and they will tell you their back and/or neck hurts. Scott has been dealing with this for a while and it finally came down to surgery this month. Needless to say, he was out of commission for the rest of the month. After a couple of weeks recuperating, he accepted an invitation from the new management firm, 102 Degrees, and went to New York for a showcase of The Heavy Pets. The show was a huge success on all levels and Scott became a fan of the band and their progressive thinking mangers.
At the insistence of a very generous pal, he checked out of his hotel and moved into Grace Kelly's former apartment on 5th Avenue at 80th. He was invited by another manager to a gig (a legendary band on an endless comeback tour) but left halfway through the set. The Heavy Pets were clearly the band that stood out as potential future artists at Hit or Myth Productions.
